Visit of Her Majesty's Royal Marines Band (Portsmouth)
The
Royal Marines Concert will take place on Sunday 15th July 2012 commencing at 2pm.
The Concert will follow the standard format.
1st Half - Concert
Interval
2nd Half - Concert followed by Rededication Service and then Finalle.
Approximate finish time of 5pm.

Road Closures
As in previous years we have requested a road closure of The Strand between the junctions of Canada Road and North Barrack Road. The road will be closed from 1.30pm to 5pm. A diversion will operate (north to south) via North Barrack Road, Gladstone Road and Canada Road. This will require suspension of parking on The Strand and parts of the diversion route. Letters will be delivered to all residences and businesses on these routes and advanced notices will be placed a week prior to the event.
Parking
As in previous years there will be parking allowed on Walmer Green to the south of the Lifeboat Station for blue badge disabled holders only. This will be controlled by parking marshalls.
Food / Refreshments
Friends from St Saviour's Church will be providing a stall selling Hot Drinks and Cakes next to the Lifeboat Station.
Our Caterers, Riverside Catering, will provide hot food and ice creams from locations on Walmer Green.
There are also a number of local businesses along The Strand that will be open for business.
Toilets
There are public toilets next to the Paddling Pool (located to the north of the Bandstand).
Additional Temporary Toilets will be available (including a disabled toilet) near to the Lifeboat Station.
